The following items are available for offers, CLOSING DATE FOR OFFERS: ########## For newcomers to the "postal auction process", the "email" bidding process, or those wishing to re-familiarise, please read the following guidelines:
1) The minimum bid considered for any item is £5 unless * is shown in which case you may make a lower offer than £5. All offers must be a specific figure. We do not accept offers "up to ..." or "£5 above best bid" etc.
2) Offers may be in cash, unusual programmes (ie. items which we could use in future offers lists) or a combination of both. If offering programmes it is critical that you describe their condition accurately.
3) Please submit bids on a separate piece of paper to your order form, or use the email bidding process below. These may be posted or faxed to us. Do not leave the sending of your offers until the last moment; there is no advantage in doing so as we never look at any offers until after the closing date. In fact, each month several "would be" successful offers arrive too late to be considered. This is frustrating for everyone, so please get your offers is as soon as possible.
4) Verbal/Telephone bids cannot be entertained. All offers MUST be in writing. Please do not phone to enquire how offers are "progressing", as we simply do not know due to the reasons set out in paragraph 3 above.
5) Many customers ask what to bid for certain items. Prices realised can fluctuate dramatically, and therefore even the most experienced of us can be flummoxed - as a general rule though, most items tend to sell for between 2 and 3 times the minimum. After saying this however, some items are sold at their minimum, whilst others in excess of 20 times above it! An item's value is determined by it's scarcity and what it is ultimately worth to it's eventual purchaser.
6) If your offer(s) proves successful, you will be notified during the week after the closing date. We would then ask you to send your remittance with TWO WEEKS.
